Missional Community Groups
At Calvary we have a gathered and scattered approach to ministry (Acts 2:46-47). We gather as one Body on Sunday mornings, and we scatter on Sunday evenings, meeting in homes throughout the Valley. A Missional Community Group (MCG) is a place where the people of Calvary share life together and enjoy the true community that God redeemed us to experience through a living faith relationship with Jesus.
An MCG is a small expression of the body of Christ in a given locale (a home) that meets for the express purpose of glorifying and enjoying God through fellowship, worship, Bible study, prayer, service and mission. Each group is intentionally missional in character, seeking to bring more and more people under the influence of the good news of Jesus through sharing God's Word, meeting real needs, and inviting people to witness the manner in which believers actively love one another.
We have MCGs that meet in Burlington, Sedro Wooley, Mt. Vernon, and Alger. Please call the number below or email the group leader, if you are interested in checking one out. We hope you do. You can also email the church at email@example.com, if you would like more information.
